Meet The Circus Arts Hub Designer, Aaron Walker
Updated: Apr 6, 2020
I am thrilled to announce that Aerial choreographer, award winning photographer and visual designer, Aaron Walker, will be collaborating with me on The Circus Arts Hub. Originally from the UK Aaron immersed himself in the European circus scene after graduating from The Circus Space BA program. Aaron began taking photos of the circus artists he worked with whilst touring as an international aerial performer. He has since developed two parallel, award-winning careers in photography/design and aerial choreography. Read on to hear his artistic rationale as a photographer and circus creator.
I bring to my photography practice twenty years of professional experience as a physically specialised international circus artist, aerial trainer, show consultant, and graphic designer. I use my unique skill set to design, create and capture dynamic physical movement. My personal projects have a creative and technical structure to work within. The same approach is used with commissioned projects where I add another layer from the clients direct engagement. The common goal is to make a strikingly fresh outcome that will transport and inspire the viewer. Each project outcome is drawn from a wealth of experience in the performing arts industry to produce an authentic moment in time.
